I agree with this guy. If you're playing against good players, then yes it would work, however when you play guys who just stay in on gut straight draws just cause they already have 0.50 committed to the pot, you'll get burned quite often.

It probably does work sometimes, but whatever strategy you have, it's always going to depend on who you're playing against.

The advice contained here is very sound. The most important part from my experiences is that you have to walk away up. I have lost over 20 dollars, it took me two hours to make, on just two hands before. Ego is a very ugly thing and it can sneak-up on you quickly. Good luck ya'll, and thank you.

well, i hope all this info comes in handy when i play with my free 50. its hard using that tactic while practicing with play money, especially when everyone plays so loose.

I never read a poker book before because it was always a huge novel. This was a great to read because it short, sweet and to the point !!!! I have to print this out and keep it with me.
