Good advice, it can be really stressful having a small bankroll and wanting to seriusly play.

Patience is the key and solid play is the way. Just be strong when you get what you have been waiting for but get out when you arent having positive expectations. Sometimes youll get unlucky but if you stick to your plan I will try to we should be able to accomplish this goal.

I certainly don't mean to flame, and maybe I'm missing something, but some of the claims regarding how quickly you can make money strike me as unrealistic. The above quote is a good example. Turning $2 into $5 in a session of 2 hours would require that you make over 7 BB an hour. (($3.00 / $0.20) / 2 hr = 7.5 BB) Getting lucky and doing it once or twice out of ten sessions would be normal, but I am skeptical that it could be done consistently.

Have I misunderstood something?

For the most part, this does work. The only problem though is that people at a .05/.10 table are NOT playing this correct way. They are out there fishing with their 3/9 off suit and hitting 9 high straights on the river and beating your A/K suited that never hit for you. I personally think that you shouldn't be playing such no stakes unless you really aren't comfortable at all a little higher.

Common knowledge, well... should be if yur playing for money

but I even trap myself in going too far with my hands sometimes..
No, I am no pro, but I consider myself a pretty steady player, who 's read all about it
