Number of Unique Starting Hands
Feel like a complete muppet for this, but...
How many unique starting hands are there in hold'em? I've read 169 in a few places (13 cards, you get two), but I think it's 325:
Your first card can be one of 13 (A, K, Q etc., suit doesn't matter)
Your second card can be any one of 25 (12 suited cards, 12 unsuited cards, 1 card for a pocket pair)
13*25=325 (but then I think that should be divided by 2, because AcKs is the same as KsAc. But what the hell is half a starting hand?)
Anyone care to end my misery?
