Computer software games

I have a computer software package that has casino games. I can play Texas Hold'em with this software. I don't have the internet at my house. Is playing Texas Hold'em with this software good practice for online Texas Hold'em?

Poker is all about making the correct decisions. I say it can be good practice, but keep in mind your not playing against other humans, your playing against a machine which is programmed to do certain things that maybe a real person wouldn't...

I don't really find besides sharpening up your on your finite skills, online games don't really help you with the live game. Live you have so many other factors to consider and be aware of yourself. Practicing in person is the best if that's where you want to make your money.
