getting to the final table

Hi, I've been playing poker for about 2 years. I do pretty well at most tournys. Except, I can never finish in the top 5. 50% of the time I can finish between 10-5 place, but I have only gotten futher 4 or 5 times... Can someone recommend a book or some strategy to finish a little higher?

next time
u reach a final table if ur objective is to reach the top 5 play it more conservative! might really work
here is an exemple that happened to me couple days ago
i was on average stack all tourny
and once we got to the last 20 which were the ppl in the money i played more conservative and got to the final table and to the top5 and even to the top 3!!
so try this
