the way i see it if your going to play on the higher limits you might as well play in the bad beat...you could have gotten $30k+ which would be so sweet...anyone int he hand gets in on the action which is tight

if your bankroll will allow you to play at a badbeat table, it is probably best to do so. Just don't play the game to try to hit the jackpot; play it like you normally would. Seems simple, but you'd be surprised how many people modify their game slightly because they are wanting to get a piece of that jackpot. Some people have actually been known to chase the jackpot.

I have always thought that those sites increase the odds of getting amazing hands, because when you think about it, the way that they make money is by raking bigger pots, so it is to their advantage to have bigger pots.

I think that you have been always thinking wrong. They don't need to create action to get bigger rakes. The action is there already from all the loose players that will call anything and feed the rake.
