your right I find 99.9% of the time on pre flop you should raise the only time I may even consider not raising is if I am first to act on a agrressive table then I may just call hoping one of the aggressive players or one of the next 8 players will bet then I either call or re-raise to get all their chips or a big part of their chips.

I also agree...I've lost so many hands by slow playing instead of raising with high pocket pairs pre-flop. Usually 3 or 4 times the BB will cut the pack down to one or two other players, with any luck they'll all fold!
