So why is it impossable to slow play pocket aces?

Everytime i slow play pocket aces i get beat, why is that. if you slow play you keep more people invovled in the hand bigger payoff then you lose to Two pair every time!!!!

I don't know but slow playing them isn't always the best thing to do. I hate losing with aces more than anything....its the worst!

Not impossible, but not very smart either.

Never sandbag with a powerhouse hand, especially rockets. You'll be sorry. Bet the pot or more. You want to drop the chasers right away so they dont draw out on you. Give them credit when they come over the top unless you have a good read. Most of the time they are not bluffing.

You need a lot stronger hand to slowplay than just a pair, even if they are rockets. You slowplay and you are giving free or cheap cards that will come back to haunt you. In order to successfully slowplay, you have to know your hand is strong enough that giving that free card isn't going to come back to get you.

I don't slowplay anything pre-flop ever in a low limit game.
After the flop I will only slowplay a hand that is top set or better, and only then if thre is not two to a flush on the board.

It is bad to slow play aces because you allow inferior hands the chance to catch. you want to isolate yourself against other quality/good hands and force them to catch up to you.

I love to bet big with pocket aces, I even go all in, in sit and go tournaments. Some one will call you and then you can take there money!!! Win big baby!

I rarely slowplay. If you just continually hammer on all betting rounds and bet aggresivel then you big hands will get payed off anyway.

Playing slow allows other people to catch better cards and surpass your pocket aces. Bet big when your packing big guns

Pocket Aces don't play well unimproved in multiway pots. It's best not to slowplay them because they are a hand that you want to play heads up. If you don't slowplay, you will get beat far less often.
