playing live can give you a much bigger rush than an onlinegame, simply because the money seems realer when you are using real chips. The process of actually going to a casino and sitting down also prepares you for poker much more than just eating dinner, going on the computer and a few clicks later your in a game or two.

I tend to agree that online is fun, but the experience of playing real live tournaments is quite different, this is where you can tell the manarisms of the players around you, and work on your skills of calling peoples tells. There is obviously bet tells online, but in live tourny's its much more exciting.
To be honest i on'y play online poker when there isn't a live game going in my area. i've played in vegas and foxwoods as well as some local poker rooms in my town and in my opinion live action is way better then the interent. everyone seems to have a hand online which in most cases is nothing like live games.
