Introduction
Hi guys.
Just to quickly intorduce myself, my name's Ash2538, you can find me on P.o.k.e.r.S.t.a.r.s. and on F.u.l.l.T.i.l.t. playing under the same name.
I play low stakes NL texas hold'em professionally and make anywhere from $1,000/$1,500 CDN to roughly $15,000 CDN per week. (that gives me an annual income in the range of $52,000 CDN to about $730,000)
I've been playing poker for about a year, I generally play $2/$4 and often $1/$2 stakes, but you'll ocassionally find me at a $0.50/$1 blind table as well.. I tend to play 6 max tables (I find them easier to beat and more profitable in general) and yes, like anyone else I dabble all over the place, I even play play money every now and then, usually with friends of mine who like poker but don't all play for money. One more thing: I'm a CASH TABLE PRO, I don't make my living playing tournaments.. I'm an extremely good tournament player, but I play them for fun, not expecting any consistent income from them.
I've also read at least 12 books on poker, studied several games briefly and I continue to read and study today. I win at limit Texas Hold'em however I am not a professional player in that game. I also am able to play and survive relatively well in several other forms of poker including 2-7 triple draw, NL Omaha 8 or better High-Low Split, NL Omaha, Razz, 7-Stud and 5-Draw. However, my GAME is NL Texas Hold'em ("the Cadillac of Poker") so please while I'll try to answer any question posed, please keep the majority of questions directed at that subject to ensure your question has the highest chance of being answered.
Regards,
Ash
