while I agree with what you're saying Code MaYne, I think that the standards you listed out are far too wide a range for such a beginning player..
anyway Ace-all56, and any other beginners reading this thread, take the information as it comes.. but just bear in mind, the weaker the hand you're playing (ie the *primarily* lower and *secondarily* less connected the cards) .. the more skill it takes to play them. (Being in position or out of position dampens or amplifies, respectively, the effects of this fact exponentially) The weaker the player you are, the stronger the hands you should be playing. Make sense?
